Liebster Award! & My First Audio Art Podcast

Thanks Nina for nominating me.  You can follow her blog Kindergarten Art Class HERE.

In this episode I talk about the Liebster award, answer the questions that go with it, and give my recommendations for 10 blogs you should be following.

Be sure to tune-in for my New Years show in 2 weeks!

Are one of these blogs your's?  Here are my 10 questions:

1.  Why did you start your blog?

2.  What excites you about being an art educator?

3.  What do you talk about on your blog?

4.  Why do you think connecting with other bloggers is important?

5.  Have you met any other bloggers in person?

6.  Where do you think your blog will be in 2 years?

7.  What do you do best?

8.  How much time do you devote to your blog?

9.  How do you create your posts?

10.  What wishes do you have for your readers?

  1. thanks for share, i like this post very much , hope you can have more post similar that |
    loola up

  2. Thanks so much Heather! I appreciate the Liebster Award nomination!

    1. No prob! After reading your answers to my questions, I just wanted to say that I also really like reading your alumni posts.

  3. Thank you so much for the Liebster Award nomination. "Make it Art Talk" is my blog for my students to learn more about art. They each need to read and comment on 10 blogs a quarter. It is a great way for them to see all of the ways you can create art. Thanks again.

    1. I love the idea of having your students search out and comment on different art blogs. Awesome!

  4. Thank you so much for the nomination! I started my blog to share my lesson plans with other teachers that were just starting out. When I started teaching we were still checking out books and magazines out of the library for ideas!

I love art history. I try to incorporate as much of it as I can into my lessons. My elementary students soak it up like little sponges. It brings me so much joy when they can compare an artist from a previous lesson to our current one.

I wish I had more time to blog. As of right now, I try to make sure I am posting something at least once a week. My wish for my readers is that they find a lesson or project that inspires them and give it a try with their students.

Thank you again for the Liebster Award nomination. I am very flattered!

    1. Thanks for answering the questions. I too find that my students love listening to stories about famous artists and artworks.

  5. Thanks for the nomination! Sorry it took me so long to post! Here is my response!

    1. Your welcome! By the way, I love your car salesman story.
